Huntington Beach and Garden Grove are among the 25 happiest cities to live in the United States, according to a study done by wallethub.com, a financial management website.
One hundred eighty-two cities were evaluated and ranked based on emotional and physical well-being; income and employment; and community and environment. Thirty key indicators were examined ranging from depression rate to income-growth rate to average leisure time spent each day.
Huntington Beach was ranked 14th and Garden Grove 24th. Other Orange County cities ranked included Irvine (sixth), Anaheim (23rd) and Santa Ana (44th).
The nation’s happiest city, according to the survey, is Fremont (California) followed by San Jose, Madison (Wisconsin), Overland Park (Kansas) and San Francisco.
