FIREFIGHTERS knocked down a fire in an industrial building in West Garden Grove Saturday (OCFA photo).

A fire involving hazardous materials closed traffic on Western Avenue in West Garden Grove on Saturday evening.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the fire was reported at 6:24 p.m. in the 12000 block. Crews knocked down the fire and investigated the blaze to determine which materials may have been involved. 

Western was closed to public traffic from Chapman Avenue to Lampson Avenue. There were no injuries.
