A fire Wednesday morning in two buildings in Stanton was extinguished by Orange County Fire Authority firefighters.
According to the OCFA, the blaze was reported in the 12000 block of Beach Boulevard – between Orangewood and Katella avenues –in the buildings and surrounding areas.
A rapid attack enabled crews to knock down the fires and stop them from causing extensive damage to the structures and prevent one of them from extending to an adjacent mobile home park.
Orange County Sheriff’s Department deputies closed Beach Boulevard to traffic from Orangewood to Katella. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
