Firefighters rescued a person trying to flee the flames in a Westminster mobile home on Friday.
The Orange County Fire Authority reports that OCFA crews were dispatched at 10:05 p.m. regarding “multiple calls” about a fire in the 15600 block of Westminster Boulevard, near Springdale Street.
Arriving firefighters found a resident trying to leave the home as flames began to roll toward the exit. They rescued the resident and firefighter paramedics treated the resident for smoke and burn injuries while crews knocked down the fire.
The cause in under investigation and assistance was provided by the Fountain Valley Fire Department, Huntington Beach Fire Department and Westminster police.
