BLAZE on Flanner Avenue in northern Garden Grove (OCFA).

An early morning fire Thursday in a garage in Garden Grove was knocked down in 15 minutes by firefighters.

Orange County Fire Authority crews responded to the blaze in the 10000 block of Flanner Avenue (southeast of Katella Avenue and Brookhurst Street) which was called in at 12:15 a.m.

The fire had begun to extend to vehicles in the driveway and approached the house as crews arrived. Firefighters checked the home to make sure everybody had evacuated and were able to confine the blaze to the garage.

The family will not be displaced and there were no injuries. Fire investigators were on the scene and the cause of the fire has not been determined. Help was provided by the Anaheim Fire Department and Garden Grove police.
