A SEARCH is on for a man wanted in connection with four fatal shootings in an area near Atlanta (Shutterstock).

A man suspected of fatally shooting three men and one woman near Atlanta is being hunted by authorities.

The Associated Press is reporting that police in Hampton, Ga., are focusing on Andre Longmore, 40, as suspect. Police say he is armed and dangerous.

According to police, the shootings took place late Saturday morning in Hampton, population 8,500.  They say they are seeking a black GMC Acadia sport utility vehicle that Longmore could be driving.

A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to his arrest and prosecution.

Three police officers shot in Fargo

A gunman shot three police officers – two of them fatally – before being killed by another officer in Fargo, North Dakota on Saturday.

According to United Press International, Officer Jake Wallin was killed, and officers Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes are in critical condition.

The suspect killed was Mohamad Barakat, 37, a resident of Fargo. No motive has been established for the attack.

SoCal fires causing evacuations

Several wildfires began burning in Riverside County on Friday afternoon and continue to burn on Saturday.

Thousands of acres have been scorched in the Rabbit Fire, Los Angeles Times is reporting and evacuation orders have been issued for the community of Lakeview,

Daytime temperatures of 100-plus, along with steep hills and canyons are complicating efforts to contain the blazes, fire officials say.
