An update on the Civic Center Revitalization Project is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.

Construction of a new 87,000-square foot police building will be the centerpiece of the project to renovate the area bounded by Euclid Street, 7th Street, Stanford Avenue and Acacia Parkway.

It’s expected that the new structure will be located a bit to the west, at the corner of Euclid and Acacia, which will lead to a re-orientation of the Civic Center Park.

The city is seeking a single development team to design, build and finance the project.

The council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
