Three buildings are unburnt

THREE BUILDINGS were saved from a fire in the fourth in Garden Grove (OCFA photo).

Firefighters were able to save three buildings in Garden Grove early Monday morning.

Orange County Fire Authority crews were able to quickly extinguish a fire in a residential board and care building in the 9000 block of Katella Avenue (near Magnolia Street) around 4:45 a.m.

The blaze was prevented from spreading to three adjacent structures. There were no injuries to firefighters but one patient was treated for smoke inhalation.

Ten people were displaced by the fire and the cause is under investigation.
