An early morning fire in a convenience store in Westminster was stopped by firefighters early Monday morning before it could do damage to the rest of the building.

Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded to an alarm at 2:17 a.m. at the Circle K in the 13000 block of Beach Boulevard (near Garden Grove Boulevard).

The blaze was in the utility room of the store. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
