
ONE PERSON was killed and three hurt in a car crash early Sunday morning in Garden Grove (Shutterstock).
One person died and three others were injured when a motor vehicle struck a tree early Sunday morning in Garden Grove.
According to Sgt. Royce William of the GGPD, the crash was reported at 12:05 a.m. in the area of the 12900 block of Newhope Street, near Garden Grove Boulevard.
A 20-year-old Garden Grove man suffered fatal injuries; injured were a 17-year-old Anaheim girl, an 18-year-old Anaheim man and the 20-year-old driver.s
Orange County Fire Authority personnel responded to the scene and pronounced one passenger dead at the scene and transported the car’s driver and two passengers to local hospitals in critical but stable condition.
The driver was cooperative and police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the incident. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Investigator John Yergler at (714) 741-5772.
