A FIRE on Bestel Avenue in Garden Grove was knocked down in 11 minutes Monday night (OCFA image).

It took firefighters just 11 minutes to knock down a blaze Monday night in Garden Grove.

According to Capt. Thanh Nguyen of the Orange County Fire Authority, the fire was reported at 8:59 p.m. in the 8100 block of Bestel Avenue (northwest of Trask Avenue and Newland Street).

Firefighters were able to confine the blaze to the garage and keep it from spreading to the rest of the house or adjacent buildings. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown.

Garden Grove police assisted in traffic control in the area.
