The ribbon-cutting for the opening of the Central Cities Navigation Center in Garden Grove was held on Wednesday at 13871 West St. The new facility will serve the unhoused populations of Garden Grove, Fountain Valley and Westminster. It has dorms with beds for 55 men, 22 for women and six beds for couples. There are two “flex rooms” with two beds. The 11,363-square foot facility has 85 beds and can be expanded to 100 beds. In addition to proving shelter, the CCNC will offer services for employment, mental health and more (Photos by City of Garden Grove and Joe Laricchia).
