Donald Schlensker and Susie Clisson has been named the Man and Woman of the Year for 2024-2025 by the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce.

They will be recognized at the 117th annual Chamber Gala Dinner and Awards on Saturday, June 29 at the Anaheim Marriott Suites, 12015 Harbor Blvd., Garden Grove.

Don has been involved in many civic activities as a volunteer including booster clubs at Pacifica High School, Garden Grove Boys and Girls Club, Kiwanis Club and the local Elks Lodge.

He has operated a construction company in Garden Grove for 43 years and is a Vietnam War veteran.

Susie has been a resident of Garden Grove for over 30 years. She and her husband John own and operate West County Tire and Automotive, Inc.

She has been an active member of the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce and has been involved with Northeast Garden Grove Little League, Meals on Wheels, the  Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Garden Grove Rotary Club.
