The proposed city budget for 2024-25 goes before the Westminster City Council when it meets on Wednesday.

Revenue for all funds are projected to total $141.1 million, with budgeted expenditures at $146.9 million.

The difference would be made up by tapping reserves.

Also on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting are a request  to implement a policy for the placement of urgency items by city council members and a request to move the order of oral communications for non-agenda items to the beginning of the meeting.

The council will meet in closed session at 5 p.m. and the open session at 6 p.m. in its chambers at 8200 Westminster Blvd.

Since the meetings of July 10 and 24 have been cancelled, the next regular meeting of the council will be on Aug. 14.
