A special meeting of the Westminster City Council is scheduled for today (Tuesday) regarding a request to “revisit” an item from the June 12 meeting in which the council voted in favor of a resolution of censure for Councilwoman Amy Phan West but delayed approval of the final resolution until Sept. 11.

The censure question concerns “actions and comments” of the District 1 councilwoman.

As of this writing, there’s no staff report explaining the intent of the request to “revisit” the item, but that topic is the only action item on the agenda.

There will be a closed session at 6 p.m. followed by an open session at 8 p.m with the “revisit” item listed for that session.

The council meets at 8200 Westminster Blvd.
