About 70 firefighters from three agencies combined to snuff out a fire in Garden Grove on Thursday.
Personnel from the Orange County Fire Authority and the Anaheim and Orange fire departments worked to extinguish the blaze at a city-owned water well in the 12500 block of Haster Avenue.
Firefighters put out “hot spots” by accessing them from the roof and removing parts of the building’s metal-reinforced interior soundproofing.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Garden Grove police provided traffic control.
