Look! Up in the sky! It’s not a bird … It’s not Superman! It is the Pacific Air Show, opening on Friday in the skies over Huntington Beach and continuing through Sunday.

The air show will include performances by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team, stuntman Jacko Strong and the Horsemen Three’s P-51 demo of the classic World War II fighter planes.

The shows will be visible to people all up and down the Orange County coast, but ground zero of the event will be around Huntington Beach’s iconic pier.

There’s no admission charge to the general area but tickets for premium seating in the beach area are available.

“Pacific Airshow’s social and economic impact on the community is unmatched and every year brings our community together for a family friendly, patriotic celebration complete with world class aviation displays right on our coastline,” said Gracey Van Der Mark, mayor of Huntington Beach. “We’re thrilled to have Pacific Airshow return to the skies over Huntington Beach this year for Southern California to enjoy.”

General admission is $30 a ticket, while pier seating is $55 on Friday and $80 on Saturday and Sunday. Other seating and packages are also available.
