The first-ever CIF-SS girls’ flag football playoffs will start on Tuesday for teams in Division 2-5 with Division 1 action starting on Saturday, Oct. 26. Six  local teams are participating.

Huntington Beach High is seeded third in Division 1.Santiago is seeded fourth in Division 5.

Here are the pairings for schools serving our West Orange County cities of Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Stanton and  Westminster.

Division  1: Western Christian at Huntington Beach.

Division  2: Thousand Oaks at Edison.

Division  3: San Dimas at Westminster.

Division  5: Hawthorne at Santiago, Baldwin Park at Garden Grove, Kaiser at Rancho Alamitos.

All games are scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
