Garden Grove police had a busy weekend, enforcing the law and keeping the peace.

Here are two examples:

Officers located a stolen vehicle and a short pursuit ensued. As the vehicle pulled into a parking lot, the driver threw a bag out of the passenger-side window.

The suspect vehicle came to a stop and the suspect was arrested without further incident. The bag contained “a controlled substance.”

In the other incident, officers were dispatched to a house fire when Orange County Fire Authority personnel learned it was an illegal marijuana processing location.

A warrant was served and over 100 marijuana plants were discovered.
