A motorcyclist died from injuries suffered from a collision with an automobile Tuesday night in Garden Grove.
According to Traffic Investigator John Yergler of the GGPD, the incident took place at around 10:08 p.m. in the 12000 block of Euclid Street near Chapman Avenue.
Officers from the Anaheim Police Department were the first to arrive on the scene and began rendering first aid to the motorcyclist while awaiting the arrival of the Orange County Fire Authority personnel.
He was assessed and treated at the scene and then taken to a local trauma center where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the automobile remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The GGPD Neighborhood Traffic Unit arrived and took over the investigation. It’s unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
