OCFA’s Truck 85 to the rescue

It only took firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority six minutes on Thursday to cut free a motorist in critical condition trapped in a wrecked car. Truck 85’s rescue allowed the injured person to be treated by firefighter paramedics and taken to a nearby hospital. According to the OCFA, the incident was at Lampson Avenue and Topaz Street in Garden Grove at around 3:42 p.m. A few hours later – at 7:59 p.m. – in Westminster, at Springdale Street and Westminster Boulevard, OCFA performed a similar rescue involving four persons (OCFA photo).
