The Garden Grove City Council on Tuesday night took action to keep a dry roof over the heads of city employees and residents visiting city buildings.

The council voted 7-0 for acceptance of roof replacement work at:

• the Tibor Rubin Branch library in West Garden Grove;
• the Chapman Branch library near Magnolia Street;
• the Garden Amphitheater (phase two) in the Village Green Park.

The council also approved the awarding of a contract to CJ Services for roof replacement at City Hall in the amount of $374,766.

The next meeting of the city council is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11.
