The second round of CIF-SS baseball and softball playoffs is scheduled for Saturday and Tuesday, with nine local teams still in contention.

In Tuesday’s baseball games, Huntington Beach (24-4) – which had a bye in the first round of Division 1 – will host Santa Margarita (17-12). Garden Grove (20-9) will host Milken Community (17-9) in Division 7 action. In Division 9, Santiago (8-14) will host the Academy for Academic Excellence (12-9).

In Saturday’s softball contests, Huntington Beach (22-7) will host Chino Hills (20-8) in a Division 1 game at 11 a.m. Division 3 action will have Marina (15-13) host San Clemente (22-7-1).

In Division 7, Los Amigos (16-6) will visits Culver City (10-14) on Monday and Westminster (14-11) will host Fillmore (12-8) in an 11 a.m. game on Saturday.

Division 8 action will see Orange (8-11) host Tustin (11-5) in a 1 p.m. game on Saturday. Rancho Alamitos (13-6) will host Hawthorne (12-13) in a 9:30 a.m. game, also on Saturday.

All games are scheduled for start at 3:15 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
