
A TRAFFIC COLLISION between a truck and a motorcycle in Garden Grove sent a rider to the hospital (Shutterstock).
A collision between a pickup truck and a motorcycle in Garden Grove left a man in critical condition in a local trauma center on Friday afternoon.
According to Corporal John Yergler of the GGPD, the incident took place after 1 p.m. in the area of the 12500 block of Magnolia Street, near Lampson Avenue.
A 2023 black Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 46-year-old Garden Grove resident collided with a 2018 silver Aprilla RSV4 motorcycle ridden by a 20-year-old Costa Mesa resident.
GGPD officers and Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene and began rendering medical aid to the motorcyclist who was then taken to a hospital.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the collision.
