Dodgers hold hit parade; Halos win

DODGERS and Angels won on Tuesday night.

A 14-hit attack – abetted by two Colorado errors – lifted the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 9-7 win over the Rockies on Tuesday night in Chavez Ravine.

The Blue Crew got two home runs in that barrage, including Shohei Ohtani’s 27th round-tripper of the season. Michael Conforto added his fifth of 2025, this one a three-run blast.

The win went to Justin Wrobleski (3-2), who pitched five innings giving up five hits and two runs. He struck out seven and walked two.

After building an 8-2 lead, the Dodgers held off a late Rocky rally to get the win and improve their record to 49-31. They lead the National League West by four games over the second place San Francisco Giants.

Christian Moore hit two late home runs to help the Los Angeles Angels rally from behind twice on Tuesday and defeat the Boston Red Sox 3-2 in 10 innings in Anaheim.

With the Halos trailing 1-0 in the eighth, Moore homered to left to tie the game. After the Bosox retook the lead with a run in the top of the 10th, Moore blasted a two-run homer to center field to give the Angels the win.

The team is now 39-40 and back in third place in the American League West.
