The rating of schools tends to be based on a variety of factors that may differ from one viewpoint to another, but staff and students in public high schools in our West Orange County cities – Garden Grove, Huntington Beach and Westminster – will probably be pretty happy with grades recently issued by Niche, Inc.
Eleven comprehensive high schools in the Garden Grove Unified School District and Huntington Beach Union High School District earned grades of A+ through A-.
The top grade of A+ was awarded to La Quinta High of Westminster, part of the GGUSD.
Among those rated as A (listed by scores) are Huntington Beach High School (HBUHSD), Pacifica High School (GGUSD), Marina High School (HBUHSD), Garden Grove High School (GGUSD), Edison High School (HBUHSD), Bolsa Grande High School (GGUSD) and Westminster High School (HBUHSD).
Rated with an A- are Ocean View High School (HBUHSD), Santiago High School (GGUSD) and Rancho Alamitos High School (GGUSD).
