DD CAFE is located on McFadden Avenue in south Garden Grove, near Westminster.

A ‘bikini bar” is not a store where you can buy swimsuits.

Last week the Garden Grove Police Department served a warrant on such a place and arrested 17 people in response to “complaints of illegal activity.”

The DD Cafe – now closed – is located at 10552 McFadden Ave. in Garden Grove, about a block away La Quinta High School and right on the border with Westminster.

According to police, the business did not have a permit to serve or sell alcohol, and waitresses gave lap dances to customers while wearing bikinis.

The DD Cafe allegedly violated city codes on nudity, business operations and alcohol regulations. Those arrested – including two managers – were cited by police with misdemeanors and released.
