Four suspects arrested in gang shooting at a baby shower

FOUR PERSONS have been arrested in connection with a gang-relating shooting at a baby shower in Anaheim (Shutterstock).

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a gang-related shooting in Anaheim at a home that was hosting a baby shower. Three juveniles and one adult were wounded by gunfire.\

According to the APD, the incident had taken place on Saturday, Feb. 28 in the 2000 block of South Sprague Lane (southeast of Katella Avenue and Haster Street).

Police say that four gang members confronted rival gang members who were attending the baby shower and opened fire, hitting three juveniles and one adult bystander.

The juvenile victims were taken to a hospital where they are in stable condition. The adult victim was treated at the scene.

Investigators identified three juvenile suspects and one one adult, Zine Jassim, 18, of Anaheim. Two of the suspects were arrested on March 1 in Whittier, where officers recovered an AR-15 style firearm and a handgun believed to have been used in the shooting.

The other two suspects were arrested on March 2 in Santa Ana.

The suspects face charges including attempted murder, conspiracy, assault, weapons violations and gang enhancements.
