A 13-YEAR-OLD Santa Ana boy was fatally injured in an electric motorcycle crash (Shutterstock).

The teenage boy killed in a fatal collision involving a electric motorcycle in Garden Grove last Thursday night has been identified by authorities.

According to Sgt. Nick Jensen of the GGPD, the youth is Benson Nguyen, 13, a resident of Santa Ana.

He was riding an electric motorcycle in the area of Magnolia Street and Larson Avenue when his motorcycle struck a raised center median at about 35 miles an hour.

The impact made him lose control of the vehicle and be ejected onto the pavement.
