Help sought in finding the suspect car in a fatal hit-and-run

Anaheim police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident.

According to the APD, the incident took place on June 5, 2026. A bicyclist was traveling southbound on Bluegrass Street approaching the intersection of Arlington Avenue. As the cyclist entered the intersection, he was struck by beige/tan Chrysler PT Cruiser which was moving westbound on Arlington.

Following the collision, the driver of the PT Cruiser slowed down, according to witnesses, looked back toward the injured bicyclist and then left the scene. He didn’t stop to render aid or provide information.

The suspect vehicle was further described as having a faded convertible top, no rear window, chrome-and-red European-style headlights and chrome rims. There is likely collusion damage to the driver’s side front fender.
