$500,000 for video services

In addition to approving a “housing element” required by the State of California and approving the city budget for 2026-27, the Huntington Beach City Council handled a lot of business on Tuesday night.

The city council approved $500,000 for professional videography services for Huntington Beach Channel 3 HB-TV.
The council directed the city manager to research and implement advertising on the stairs of the Huntington Beach Pier.

The council approved an appropriation of $499,700 to Beadier Construction Co. for the rehabilitation of the Humboldt Drive bridge.

The council approved an ordinance regarding “public participation and disruptive behavior” at city council meetings.
The next council meeting is scheduled for July 7.
