FIREFIGHTERS extricate two persons from a crash at Lampson Avenue and Euclid Street in Garden Grove (OCFA photo).

A two-car collision in Garden Grove on Monday morning resulted in one vehicle knocked on its side with the occupants extricated from their car by an Orange County Fire Authority team.

According to the OCFA, the incident took place around 11 a.m. in the intersection of Euclid Street and Lampson Avenue.

Firefighters stabilized the scene and were able to safely remove the occupants from the vehicle. Advanced medical care was rendered and two patients were transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange for further treatment.

Garden Grove Police Department provided traffic control and other assistance.
