
THREE PEOPLE were arrested for drunk driving in Huntington Beach late Friday and early Saturday. Two were involved in traffic accidents.
Three people were arrested late Friday night and early Saturday morning for drunk driving in Huntington Beach. According to the HBPD, two of the drivers crashed their automobiles and the third passed out in the drive-through lane of a fast food eatery.
The first incident was about 9:12 p.m. Friday when police received a report of a car that had struck a tree inside a residential complex in the 6700 block of Warner Avenue. Police determined that the driver – who had a child with her – was intoxicated and was arrested for DUI and child endangerment.
Next, at 12:47 a.m. Saturday, a call came in about a man unconscious in a car in the drive-thru of the Del Taco at Beach Boulevard and Slater Avenue. He was arrested for drunk driving and will also be charged for driving drunk while on probation from a prior DUI conviction.
Finally, at about 1:15 p.m., a citizen called about a vehicle being driven with tis headlight off and which had crashed into his auto at Lake Street and Pecan Avenue. Police located the vehicle and made a DUI arrest.
There were no injuries in any of the incident, according to police.
