Calhoun’s walk-off means a 4-3 victory

Kole Calhoun’s 10th inning walk-off home run lifted the Los Angeles Angels to a 4-3 win over the Seattle Mariners Friday night in Anaheim.

That key hit also pushed the Halos back over .500 to 53-52 and it led to the team’s third straight win after losing three of four.

It was a comeback win for the home team, as they had built a 3-0 early lead before the Mariners caught them.

Andrew Heaney pitched eight strong innings for the Angels. giving up three runs on seven hits. He struck out four batters and walked none.

On Saturday, the Angels will start Jaime Barria (5-7) against the M’s.
