Fugitive murder suspect is caught here

A MURDER SUSPECT from Ohio was arrested at a Del Taco in Garden Grove Friday afternoon.

A fugitive from a murder charge in Ohio was caught at a fast food restaurant in Garden Grove by police and store employees.

According to Sgt. Troy Haller of the GGPD, the incident took place Friday at the Del Taco eatery at 11070 Garden Grove Blvd. at 2:14 p.m.

Employees had tackled a man they said had grabbed cash from one of the workers there.

A warrant check showed that the suspect – identified as Jeffrey Colin Perry, 27 – had an outstanding murder warrant from Gahanna, Ohio. Police there told GGPD detectives that Perry had the victim’s black 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it hasn’t been located.

The suspect was taken to Orange County Jail in Santa Ana and booked for robbery and the murder warrant. The investigation is ongoing and witnesses with any information about the incident or the location of the Jeep are asked to call the GGPD’s detective bureau at (714) 741-5800,

    Was he one of the rehab for gov cash imports, whose gov checks ran out?
    That’s usually when they start a-criming (sic).
    Glad Del Taco crew is unharmed. Or dead.

  2. Good job del taco employees hopefully they get a reward i think we might have to build a wall in every state to keep the murders and rapist out of our state so we can be safe ????Good job GGPD. 😯😯😝😝😎
