According to Sgt. Bob Stephenson of the GGPD, a burglary alarm was sounded around 12:56 a.m. at the Best Choice Supermarket at 12081 Brookhurst St. Long-time residents will recognize the location as the original site of a J.J. Newberry’s junior department store.
