
APPOINTMENTS to a homelessness task force on are the agenda of the Westminster City Council when it meets on Wednesday (Flickr/Hajee).
The appointment of five public members to the new Homelessness Task Force tops the agenda of the Westminster City Council when it meets on Wednesday night. The task force’s lineup will include resident appointees selected by members of the council, as well as 11 other persons.

- Regan Murray.
Joining the residents will be members from the police chief’s advisory board, the city’s economic development advisory task force, the faith-based community, the Westminster School District, the Westminster Police Department, the city’s Family Resource Center and two outside agencies.
The group will seek to evaluate the many issues related to homelessness including the possibility of creating an emergency shelter.
This meeting will be held in the council chamber, 8200 Westminster Blvd. at 7 p.m.
