An agreement to authorize the development of 43 senior apartment units is on the agenda for Monday’s meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council.
The council will consider appropriating $3 million from housing funds to implement a loan agreement with the Jamboree Housing Corporation to construct the development at 18431 Beach Blvd. at Ellis Ave.
Also on Monday night, the council will take up the appointment of Marie Knight to the new position of director of organizational learning and engagement. She had previously served as director of community services for the city.
Also on the agenda is the appointment of Christopher Slama to take her position with community services.
The council will meet in its chamber in the Civic Center at 2000 Main St. (at Yorktown Avenue) at 6 p.m.
