The number of new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in Orange County may be leveling off.
According to the Orange County Health Care Agency, 51 new cases were recorded as of Monday. Sunday’s count was 49 after 72 on Friday and 104 on Wednesday, April 1.
The new cumulative total is 882. No deaths were reported Monday; the total since the outbreak is 14. Current cases hospitalized are 130, with 72 now treated in intensive care units.
Changes in the numbers may reflect improvements in the overall situation or may simply be a function of the number of persons being tested.

In The Tribune’s coverage area, Huntington Beach has the most cases, followed by Garden Grove with 22, Westminster with 13 and Stanton with two.
