If you want to work or shop in Westminster, be sure to pack and wear your masks.
On Monday Interim City Manager Sherry Johnson issued an executive order requiring that employees at select essential businesses in the city wear face coverings.
City employees are already required to wear them, especially when dealing with members of the public.
Additionally, she recommended that all those business owners and operators require customers to wear the coverings when in their stores and that dedicated shopping hours be created for seniors and those people considered “at-risk.”
The order singles out “big box retail stores” that sell groceries to the public, but most supermarkets in the area are already following such a policy.
