Heat advisory is coming Tuesday

It’s warm and getting warmer and windier.

Temperatures in parts of West Orange County touched the 90s today (Monday) and remained as high as 88 at 6 p.m. in some areas.

A heat advisory will go into effect on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service, along with a high of 98 degrees. The temperature will drop to the low 60s tonight and each night all week. Winds gusting up to 20 miles an hour will be present.

Highs for most of the rest of the week will be in the low 90s and high 80s, dropping toward the weekend. Temperatures will be up to seven degrees cooler near the beach.
