The number of total deaths in Orange County crossed the 2,000 mark in Saturday’s report from the county health agency.
According to the OCHCA, 43 deaths were recorded, bringing the cumulative total to 2,041.
With the exception of COVID-19 cases hospitalized (down 38), all of the major metrics for the virus showed increases.
New cases were at 4,204 (up 660), as were virus patients in intensive care units (up 14).
To date, the number of total cases is 185,480, of which 111,854 are considered recovered.

- Santa Ana: 34,258 (393)
- Anaheim: 31,482 (431)
- Garden Grove: 11,764 (142)
- Orange: 8,845 (98)
- Fullerton: 8,251 (138)
- Huntington Beach: 7,446 (113).
Westminster has 5,092 cases and 55 deaths. Stanton has 2,367 cases and 25 deaths.
