A $1 million arrest warrant has been issued for a man suspected of the murder of a man last week in an Anaheim hotel.
According to the Anaheim Police Department the warrant is for Florin Raducanu, 37. He is accused of killing Aurel Trandafir, 42. Both were visiting from Romania.
Police responded to Abby’s Anaheimer Inn, 1201 W. Katella at about 7:37 p.m. regarding a report of a shooting. Officers found Trandafir suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries. At the time of the shooting, according to police, he was wanted in Romania for robbery.
Detectives are now seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect. The minivan in which Raducanu left the site has been recovered. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and is known to use numerous aliases. Police advise anyone spotting the suspect to call 911.
