Statistics on the coronavirus in Orange County seem to be stabilizing, according to a report Sunday by the county health agency.
The OCHCA reports that there were 79 confirmed new cases in today’s metric summary, down from 80 on Saturday and 112 on Friday. Deaths stayed the same at five Saturday and Sunday.
Those hospitalized with coronavirus declined from 134 to 124. Patients being treated for COVID-19 in intensive care units ticked down from 25 to 23.
The to-date total of cases in Orange County is at 252,963, of which 245,193 are considered recovered. Deaths are at 4,896.

Westminster has had 7,153 cases and 202 deaths. Stanton has had 3,164 cases and 67 deaths.
