Confirmed new cases of coronavirus in Orange County rose in Saturday’s report from the county health care agency, but deaths declined.

According to the OCHCA, cases increased from 65 on Friday to 85 on Saturday. Deaths dropped from eight to six. Hospitalizations  rose to 114 from 100. Patients being treated for COVID-19 in intensive care units rose from 15 to 22, the same count as Thursday.

The to-date total of cases in Orange County is at 253,425, of which 245,793 are judged recovered. Deaths are at 4,924.
