“Winter in the Grove” on Dec. 4

THE ANNUAL “Winter in the Grove” event comes to the Village Green park on Main Street in Garden Grove on Dec. 4 (City of Garden Grove).

The City of Garden Grove’s Community Services Department hosts the 4th annual Winter in the Grove community event on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Village Green park, located at 12732 Main St. Entry to the event is free.

The popular “Snowtopia” attraction features 50 tons of snow to create nine snow slides. Unlimited snow rides are $5 per person. Wristbands can be purchased in advance at ggcity.org/winterinthegrove.

This year, the holiday craft boutique returns, offering handmade items from local vendors. Other activities include entertainment from local performers and schools, inflatables, craft-making, holiday photo areas, and holiday treats. The event culminates with the lighting of a 24-foot, fully decorated tree, along with a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Please do not attend this event if you have had direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you are experiencing symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, fever, difficulty breathing or other flu-like symptoms.

Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring Winter in the Grove can call (714) 741-5290.
