A commercial building fire in Santa Ana had firefighters battling for two hours to knock down the blaze near Centennial Park.

According to the Orange County Fire Authority – which provides firefighting and paramedic service for Santa Ana – the two-alarm outbreak in the 3000 block of Harvard Street was reported around 11:30 p.m. Monday and finally extinguished at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The one-story building was fully engulfed in flames and OCFA teams – aided by units from the Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa fire departments – fought successfully to keep the blaze from spreading to nearby structures.
