Easter is a time for renewal, spiritual, physical and otherwise. Trees and flowers are blooming … parklands take on the appearance of meadows and after the (relative) cold of winter and the isolation of the coronavirus pandemic, we can feel our world coming back to life a bit.

Of course, this also means a time to take up new endeavors, from spring cleaning and redecorating to making new efforts to help the needy and defend those in danger of losing their liberties.

So, the staff of The Orange County Tribune wants to wish all our readers, advertisers and other supporters a happy Easter Sunday and spring season. Don’t eat too much candy too quick, and make the best of this opportunity to renew.
