
A SUSPECT in being sought in connection with a fatal shooting in Santa Ana on Thursday night (Shutterstock).
Santa Ana police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a possible suspect in the fatal shooting of a man Thursday night.
According to the SAPD, at 7:23 p.m., the incident was reported to be in the west alley of 1400 S. Minnie St. Responding officers found a man “unresponsive” inside a vehicle. He had sustained apparent gunshot wounds to his upper torso. A second man was located “at the scene” with a similar wound.
Orange County Fire Authority paramedics arrived and transported both victims to a local hospital. One of the men was listed in stable condition while the other was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified by the Orange County Coroner’s office as Roberto Izelo, 18, of Tustin.
Detectives are seeking to identify and locate any witnesses who can provide information on the incident.
