The official appointment of Lisa Kim as the new city manager for Garden Grove tops the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the city council.
Kim, currently assistant city manager and community and economic development director, and the city will enter into an employment agreement for three years, with two automatic two-year renewals.
Her annual salary will be $292,074. She’ll be assuming the post now held by Scott Stiles, who is leaving to take the job of city manager in Palm Springs.
Also on the agenda for Tuesday are:
- a resolution of commendation for Stiles for his service to the city;
- consideration of appointments of members to city commissions and committees and board, a matter that has been continued twice.
The council meets at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.
